Member of the Epsilon Chapter’s K9+1 line reunited in Ann Arbor on September 22 – 24 to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary since crossing the burning sands on December 8, 1972. In attendance were brothers Charles Brock, Randy Gear, John Johnson, Greg Frazier, and Ellis Adger. Unfortunately, three of our Sands, George Porter, John Fuselo and Walter Brown have transitioned to Omega Chapter, and two, Willie Smith and Richard Solomon, could not attend.

We and our spouses had a wonderful time catching up on life events experienced over the years that we have been scattered all over the country. Several brothers from Epsilon and other chapters were able to join us for dinner on Thursday and Friday. We memorialized our reunion by issuing plaques to the surviving Sands, and the widow of brother Walter Brown who transition to Omega Chapter last year. Our weekend was capped off with a visit to the BIG HOUSE for the Homecoming game.
