BE YOUR BROTHERS’ KEEPER

While each committee has unique goals and messaging, they all exist to serve the mission of the Board of Directors. As you continue the excellent and necessary work to define and communicate your activities, projects, and results, please consider the most important item requiring your diligent attention – COMMUNICATIONS.  The best laid plans wither on the vine unless brothers are engaged, informed and motivated.  This is why it is of paramount importance that every committee put membership engagement and communications at the top of every meeting agenda.

If you will add the following items as top priorities to your meeting agendas until they are achieved, we will reach full engagement by all members and thereby our overall goals much sooner:
  1. Confirm that all members of your committee have logged into EAC Web and completed their profiles.
  2. Charge each committee member to be the Web champion for his own line. Each committee member should track and report progress until 100% of his Sands are logged into EAC Web with completed profiles. Be your brothers’ keeper.
  3. Choose a member of your committee to create and post your content (meeting minutes/summaries, announcements, decisions, projects) to the Web and confirm that Brother is trained. Also provide a date when your first post will be made or any help you require.
  4. Confirm that all members of your committee have logged into Slack, completed their profiles, and are added to the committee channel in Slack.
  5. Challenge every committee member to make a recurring donation to the EAC.
